Thank you for completing a 'You said, we did' comments card.

The University very much recognises the need to improve Main Library facilities and further redevelopment of the building is being planned over the next couple of years. This will improve the cafe, toilet and study facilities as well as provide another 400 study spaces.

The 'parking ticket' campaign targets the 'here and now' - we're trying to ensure we make the most of the resources we have to work with in this academic year. Students have identified an ongoing issue with the use of study spaces (belongings being left unattended on desks for long periods of time) and we're trying to assist them in solving the problem.

We are only one week into the 'parking ticket' campaign but the early signs are encouraging both in terms of feedback from our users and the response by students studying in the Main Library.

kind regards
