Thank you for taking the time to fill out one of our feedback cards and I am very sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

We are also sorry you have found the Library KeepCups available for sale in the café disappointing in a few respects. Not being able to put these in your bag to carry could be considered a bit of a drawback, but the KeepCups are sold as sustainably made reusable cups rather than travel cups. They are slightly more spill-proof than a regular disposable cup, but that is not really their function.

We appreciate that you may feel the flavour of your drink might be affected by the material of the cup, so there are glass versions available to buy and we are considering offering Library specific glass options. Just to note, KeepCup explains that “The KeepCup and all its components are BPA free!” – you can read more about this on their webpages.

KeepCups do come in different sizes, but the standard size sold in the cafe is the same size as the disposable cups so relates to one serving from the coffee machine (for latte, cappuccino etc.).

Here is a link to the KeepCup supplier webpage where you can see the different options available:

We have found KeepCup offers the best options available to provide attractive and reasonably priced reusable cups, however, we take your feedback seriously so please tell us if you are aware of alternative suppliers and what you think about us offering glass cups or different sized cups for sale.

Many thanks again for your feedback,

Beth Andrews
