We are very sorry that you have been disturbed by people talking in the silent areas of the Library and understand that this can be very frustrating. We also understand that it is not always easy to confront people directly to ask them to be quiet. If you find that people are again making noise in these areas, please do not hesitate to send us a text message (07740 421569) with just "noise" and the level in the library you are on and the nearest desk number. You can find out more about this text service on our blog. If you would rather not text, please talk a member of Library staff (either at the Helpdesk or the Welcome Desk) and we will do all we can to alleviate the problem.
This is an issue we will keep trying to ease.
Many thanks for bringing this to the attention of fellow Library users.
All the best,
Beth Andrews (Communications Officer)
