This is the first time we've been asked about opening the Library Helpdesk earlier during the exam period (regular hours are 0900-2100 during semester). In general the Helpdesk is quieter on the run up to and over the exam period as it's assignments and essays that produce the most enquiries and requests for support. It's an interesting suggestion but would be difficult to implement and I'd need to be sure there was real demand from our students before investigating further.
