Thank you for taking the time to complete a Library comments card.

We certainly do not want anyone (moms or otherwise!) disturbing users of the Thomson Reading Room. Please do keep in mind that you can report any disturbances via text and our staff will come over to investigate. The details are available on the publicity within the Reading Room.

While the swipe access into the room is perhaps more open to abuse than the system in the Main Library it is used in many buildings throughout campus. We trust our staff and students to use their access permissions responsibly and of course the vast majority do just that. To install a new system would be expensive. However the University is currently undertaking a review of the operation within the Richardson Research Library at Martyrs Kirk and we will include your feedback as it nicely illustrates the strength of feeling users have when it comes to controlling access and behaviour.

Please do not hesitate to get back in touch with any other comments or feedback.
