The SafePod is currently located within the Library because we have longer opening hours than most buildings in the University, but isn't a space which we manage. Only researchers approved by ADRC can use the Safepod.
Your idea that we use it as a safe space for students during times of high anxiety is very interesting. There are various spaces within the University (and beyond) which may serve this purpose, and should anyone feel that their anxiety levels have reached a point they're concerned about the ASC or Student Services are both good places to go for help. In addition the University now has a Wellbeing map highlighting spaces and services when you need a break.
