I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by Level 3 and Level 4 of the Main Library being closed for one day each during the week commencing 15th January. We are normally very careful to alert users in advance of any closures or other potentially disruptive work being carried out at Library sites but in this instance we failed to give advance warning. I'm glad that our staff were helpful when it came to retrieving books from the shelves but we will make sure that in the future we give more warning of any disruption to service.
