Q. Why is the microwave only available when the café is closed?

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I am pleased to hear that you are happy with the new microwave. You might be aware that this is a new service and has been installed in response to user suggestions. We are currently monitoring use and feedback from library users and also from our partners in Residential Business Services (RBS) who run the cafe. We have worked in partnership with RBS to offer the microwave facility and they have been very accommodating in terms of allowing cafe users to eat food not purchased directly from them. I do appreciate that users have a wide range of dietary requirements and will continue to discuss options with our partners at RBS.
