Q. I like how the glass board at the entrance connects people and thoughts

Your comment about the whiteboard/glass board at the Library entrance is very interesting. We installed the board as a way for students to share with each other their thoughts about certain topics or to share advice or recommendations. So we are delighted that you feel it also makes people more connected to their own thoughts and can aid mindfulness.
We hope that this area supports a feeling of community within the Main Library. We are always grateful for any topics or questions to ask at the board so if you have any suggestions, please let us know!
We feel the recent ‘self-care’ topic given to us by Nightline, has worked particularly well, giving students space to tell others how they are feeling and what makes them feel better.
