Many thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. i am sorry to hear that the library spaces are not meeting your expectations.
We will be redeveloping the main library in 2020 and increasing study space will be a priority along with ensuring that there are adequate break out zones and collaborative spaces too. Ahead of those changes, we are trying to maximise best use of space where we can and we often run focus groups to canvas opinion from our users. To keep up to date with the dates of focus groups, follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. If you would prefer to have a one to one discussion about the library facilities, please do get in touch with me at the email address below.
We do also have other libraries across the town at St Mary's, J F Allen and the Gateway which you might prefer to use at times when the main library is busy. Details for these locations can be found on our website: https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/library/contact/openingtimes/.
