Thank you for taking the time to complete a Library Comments card. I'm very sorry that you found the facilities to be lacking and that you had to go home. On the day this happened we had a problem with the water supply to the library. As a result we had to close the toilets on levels 3 and 4 until the problem was resolved, however the toilets on Level 2 were kept open, with the exception of times when they were closed temporarily for cleaning.
We try our best to ensure our facilities are available at all times, by scheduling maintenance when the library is either closed, or not so busy, however from time to time we may need to close facilities at short notice when there are unexpected problems.
If you experience problems like this again please speak to a member of staff at the Helpdesk or Welcome Desk who will be able to explain the problem and direct you to alternative facilities nearby if needed.
