Thank you for taking the time to complete a "You said, We did" card recently. I'm sorry you and your friends have experienced queues for the toilets in the Library at busy times, this is something we're aware of.
During the Redevelopment Project in 2011/12, we were able to add an additional cubicle to each of the female toilets as well as an additional urinal in the male bathrooms + 2 new disabled toilets (one each on levels 3 and 4 respectively).
We could only expand the capacity of the toilets that we already had because to add extra toilets in different locations would have required water and other services to be re-distributed to these new areas. Unfortunately there was insufficient budget to allow us to do this and we were also constrained by the fact that the building wasn't actually being increased in size.
At the moment the University has no plans to increase the size of the Library, however if this happens, we will of course look to increase the number of toilets.
In general the toilets on levels 3 and 4 aren't as busy as they are on level 2, so you may have to queue for a shorter time there.
Once again, please accept my apologies, and thank you for letting us know you're dissatisfied with this aspect of the Library.
