Thank you for completing a "You said, We did" card recently relating to smoking by the entrance to the Library. There is a designated smoking areas which is away from the entrance, but at busy times smokers inevitably move beyond this. When we are aware of this library staff will ask smokers to move away from the entrance.
We have been hoping that the University would introduce a perimeter smoking ban for it's buildings, which would make the situation clearer, whilst still ensuring that smokers have a dedicated space.
