I've checked the situation regarding hand-dryers on the fourth floor, and have been advised that a fault was fixed last week. The dryers have been checked and should now be working.
We do have an ongoing issue with our hand-dryers. We had complaints about the noise they made in our silent study areas, and as a result the strength of the fans was reduced in order to reduce the noise. Unfortunately this means it takes longer to dry hands than we would have hoped. It's an issue we are looking in to.
If you find a hand dryer is not working, please report it and we'll arrange a repair.
