Thank you for completing a "You said, We did" card recently with your suggestion that return receipts give more information about the items you have and any outstanding fines. Our current system doesn't allow this, but we'll keep this is mind when we look at any upgrade or replacement to the system we use.
Most systems allow items to be returned without the person returning them having to identify who they are, for this reason they restrict the information given on a receipt in case the item has been returned by someone other than the person who borrowed it, and we would want to continue to ensure the confidentiality of our users as we're required to do by law.
