Thanks for completing a "You said, We did" card recently, sorry you've found it cold in the Library. We have some long-running problems with the heating in the Library, and are working with colleagues in Estates to find solutions. You will find that the centre of the building is warmer than the perimeter areas, and this is particularly true when the building isn't busy.
Recently we have been testing our perimeter heating system, unfortunately this is a slow process as we need to ensure each section is working properly before we activate the next area. It is our aim to create a better environment in terms of temperature, and we hope to be on the road to achieving this.
In the meantime if you find it cold, try moving away from the perimeter of the Library to the centre where it's generally warmer.
Please accept our apologies for the problems you have experienced, we appreciate the patient of library users as we try to resolve the problem.
