Thank you for completing a "You said, We did" card recently asking the Library to be open 24/7. The Library has trialled 24 hour opening in December and May of academic year 2012-2013 during the exam period, and these trials informed the increases there have been in opening times since. The trials showed that the Library continued to be used until 2am, and after that the usage dropped to a level which was too low to justify opening the Library beyond that time.
The University provides a number of 24 hour study spaces which you could use when the Library closes, these are marked on the map.
Thanks for your feedback, the Library does consider all requests from students, and whilst we have no immediate plans to increase opening times, we will take your comments into account for future planning.
