Q. I'm trying to download a PDF article but the pop-up blocker is preventing it - what can I do?

Pop-up blockers are generally used to prevent unwanted content (ads and the like) appearing on your web browser.  Unfortunately they also stop PDF documents as well.  JSTOR have produced a very helpful guide showing you how to change browser settings on Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and iPhone/iPad.

If you experience any problems accessing any of the Library's E-Resources, please let us know - you can email the details to library@st-andrews.ac.uk
