The Library’s choice of deadline is what we believe is achievable prior to the start of semester and is based on our staffing resource for both creation and editing of reading lists, purchasing of books and for digitising content. To be fair to all module coordinators we deal with lists in the order that they are received by us.
If you have a new module or are making substantial changes to a module then if you can submit at least the first 5 weeks of your list we can work on this as you complete the remaining weeks.
Similarly if you are still finalising the list but know there are key e-books you plan on using then please send us a note of these so we can get ahead with ordering them
Alternatively we can provide training for you to create your own online reading list. Contact us at readinglists@st-andrews.ac.uk for info.
If you are a new member of staff please get in touch with us so we can offer further advice.
