The allocation of licences for Refinitiv Workspace (including the Datastream plug-in) is not an immediate process so please plan ahead and leave plenty of time for this to be done.
Access to the database is allocated on the basis of need due to a limit on the number of licences available. Priority will be given to students who:
- Need access to the data for a thesis or dissertation
- Need access to the data for the purpose of an assignment set by a module co-ordinator in the Schools of Management and Economics and Finance
Accounts are allocated on a temporary basis and when no longer required will be reallocated to others who need to access the database.
To request an account please contact the Library by e-mailing library@st-andrews.ac.uk and provide the following information:
- Name
- E-mail address
- School
- Level of study (undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research)
- Reason for your request
- Any deadlines you need to meet
- Whether your personal device is a PC or a Mac
To find out how to use Workspace on your own device please look at the instructions on installing Workspace
