A variety of Library workspaces are available when the Main Library is closed for redevelopment.

Access to the other University’s Library buildings is not affected and the Napier Reading Room will be available in the usual way to view material from the University Collections (rare books, manuscripts, photography and Museums objects). As well as the different libraries and study locations within St Andrews, you can also use other libraries such as the National Library in Edinburgh, or other academic libraries throughout the UK using the SCONUL access scheme.

There are a variety of study space options available across campus and we will promote their location and availability. Check the Library Spaces page for full details including 24 hour PC Classrooms: https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/library/library-spaces/

The Old Burgh School will also be available for the Postgraduate community, where there is study space, bookable rooms and a kitchen with tea/coffee supplies.
