Nexis is a current news database and includes national and international newspapers, newswires, company profiles, country and industry reports and legal content.

Individual newspaper titles can be found by searching the library. If you need more information on years of coverage and which titles are included then:

  • Go to Nexis
  • Click on Sources on the right-hand side of the toolbar at the top of the screen
  • In the Search within sources box on the left-hand side start typing the title of the newspaper or other publication and if it is available select it.
  • Matching entries will appear on screen. Click the three vertical dots to the right hand side of the title and choose Get more information to find out which dates are covered, frequency of the publication and the update schedule.
  • If you wish to search the individual title choose to add the source to power search and at the next screen enter your keywords

If you prefer to browse the database and see which publications might be of interest then click on one of the content headings on the toolbar at the top of the screen - News, Companies, Market Insights, Biographies or Legal. Underneath the search box on each of the screens click on the links listed in the Explore section
