BoB - Box of Broadcasts (sometimes referred to as Learning on Screen) is an online database of UK TV and radio programmes which can be used for both teaching and research purposes. If you can't find the programme you need on BoB but know it has been broadcast in UK at some point then use the TRILT database to find out about availability. Some titles on TRILT are available to request for viewing.

  • Search for the title of the programme you are looking for
  • In the record scroll down until you see the Availability section.
  • Items available to request show as BUFVC Off-Air: Off- Air recording available
  • Use the request option and choose BoB as the delivery method
  • Your request will come through to the Library for approval. If we have reached the limit of the number of requests we can make each year we will investigate other options and let you know.
  • Once available via BoB you will receive an e-mail with a link so you can view the programme.

The preferred delivery method is BoB so all staff and students can access the title. However, if you have a reason for needing a DVD or prefer a signed or subtitled programme (if available) then please put this in the Additional information field or contact the library to discuss further
