To save a backup copy of your Talis Reading List:
- Go to Talis and login
- Search for the reading list you want to export or save using the module title or module code
- Select the reading list to open it
- Click 'View & Export' near top right of the screen
- There are 4 export option
- RIS - use this format if you are exporting to a reference management tool (Endnote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc)
- CSV
- Word
- If exporting the CSV, PDF or Word format save in your preferred folder, e.g. on One Drive.
A screen recording of this process can be viewed below.
Reading Lists which were used in Academic Years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 will be migrated to the new reading list system, so any back-up you create if for your use, there is no requirement for you to back-up, save or export your lists.
See the webpage Library Management System - Reading Lists for more information about the new Reading List system. If you have any questions about your reading lists email readinglists@st-andrews.ac.uk
