To export your bookmarks:
- Login to Talis
- Choose 'My Bookmarks' from the menu options near the top of the screen
- If you want to export all your bookmarks tick the box at the top left of the column, to select specific bookmarks tick the box to the left of the bookmark(s) you want to export
- Choose 'Actions' near the top right of the screen
- Choose 'Export citations' (ignore the option to Export to Refworks)
A .RIS file will be created.
If you use a reference management software (Endnote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc) you can open the RIS file in that software. If you don't use reference management software:
- email readinglists@st-andrews.ac.uk
- use the subject line My bookmarks
- attach the .RIS file
- advise which format you would like your bookmarks to be supplied in (e.g. CSV, PDF or Word)
A short screen recording of the process can be viewed below.
