All items in a reading list should have a tag applied so that students can see the level of importance and are clear as to what is expected of them. The tags in the online system are labelled as Required or Recommended (as detailed in the University's Reading List Guidelines). A third tag labelled as Additional is also included in the system for any wider readings you want to provide to the students.
To add the same tag to multiple resources at once:
- Tick the box on the left-hand side of each of the resources you want to assign the same tag too
- Once you have selected them all go to the top of the screen where an action bar has appeared.
- Click on the Tags button
- A pop up box will appear - click on the horizontal line under Add tag
- Choose the tag you want to apply
- Click on the blue Save button
NOTE: Once you have finished the action make sure you remove the ticks from the boxes to the left of the resources, otherwise the system will retain them and change them to any future actions you might select for other resources.
