If you've submitted a book purchase request and have received an email telling you the request has been declined because the title is already held in the Library Collection you should search for the book using Library Search:

• Enter the title into the search box, include the author surname if the title is short.
• As you enter text into the search box limiting options appear beneath the search box, choose Book from the options.
• The book you are looking for should appear at or near the top of the results page
  • The brief record on the results page will advise if the book is held in print format, which Library and the classmark, and/or whether the book is available online.
  • Use the information in the record to obtain the book.
• If the book you are looking for doesn't appear on the results page email Library@st-andrews.ac.uk
