Before using the Excel plugin you should do as much analysis as possible on the terminal and try using the Worksheet function W<GO> within Bloomberg as this will ensure you don't exceed the download limit set by Bloomberg. The Excel plugin for Bloomberg needs to be installed on a per-user basis so you will need to run the installer yourself.

• Log on to the Bloomberg terminal as usual
• Click the start menu
• Press "All" in the top right-corner of the menu and look for the Bloomberg folder
• 
• Select the option which says "Install Office Add-Ins"
• When the Installing Bloomberg Office Add-Ins box appears click on the Install button

• A confirmation message will appear once the installation is complete to indicate the add-ins have been added to your profile for Excel, PowerPoint and Word
